A Message from our Chair of Governors

As Mr. Hodder begins his fourth year as Headteacher of Abbey Primary School, I am delighted to reflect on the continued progress and success of our school community.

Over the past three years, Abbey has continued to go from strength to strength. Through strong leadership, dedicated staff and supportive families, we have maintained our commitment to providing a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious learning environment where every child can thrive.

The Governing Body works closely with the Headteacher and school staff to ensure that pupils receive the very best educational experience. We are proud of the high standards achieved across the school and of the many opportunities provided to enrich learning both inside and outside the classroom.

At Abbey, the wellbeing, happiness and success of our pupils remain at the heart of everything we do. We are continually impressed by the enthusiasm, resilience and achievements of our children, who represent our school so positively every day.

As governors, we recognise the hard work and dedication of all staff, whose commitment makes Abbey such a special place to learn and grow. We also value the ongoing support of parents, carers and the wider community, whose partnership plays an important role in the school's success.

While challenges across education remain, we are excited about the opportunities ahead and are confident that Abbey Primary School will continue to flourish.
